Here's a quick photoshop I made, nothing special just lowered, wheels, and blacked out chrome grille and middle piece. New Lancers are awesome. Enjoy

to the contrary i'm disagreeing with you on this one. both the base lancer and the evo come from essentially the same chassis i dont see why they shouldn't look simliar at all. mitsu motors want to have a very relative family look between the base car and its super powered bretheren which is great as putting the Evo as its halo car. people who are not wiling or just can't afford an evo will flock just to buy a lancer. its working for the impreza, i don't see how mitsu cant make it work as well.

sure some people will get mad/upset and their panites will be all tied up because the $30K+ car they just bought looks like the $15k car their car is based on..... all i gotta say is step off that high horse and enjoy the ride, when it comes down to it the base cars just wont have teh driving essence of its higher performing brother the evo, other then looks shouldnt that be enough?

cheers!

Yeah, other than the volvo nose, looks like the mazda 3 or 6, which I think are really nice looking cars. They might actually sell some of these to other than someone who is just desperate to get a car.......

it's getting harder and harder to choose which car to get nowadays since cars are becoming as reliable as hondas or toyotas....the civic, corolla, and lancer are all very good cars....so i guess it comes down to who will give you the best price and the best performance....again they are all pretty much the same in these areas so how do you choose?...just drive them all and pick the one you like best...might as well throw the nissan sentra in there as well...lol..

on a side note...i work with someone who has a kia with almost 200k on it....i thought they were crap as far as reliability but i guess they are catching up too

Very nice!

Although i find it VERY odd how the door is actually part of the pillar/windshield, and the color of the car extends across the doors and then is cut off by the side pillars? Looks like they were trying to correct the body lines/design?

oh, and where the hell are the INTERIOR shots? (since the interior will remain largely unchanged from the evo?)
