Actual Pics Of 2008 Lancer (link)
^^^ ding, ding, ding,
Who wouldnt buy a 276hp turbo - awd rally inspired car over a 152hp na - fwd car? You must of graduated from kindergarten with the highest honors,
You again,
It's Mitsubishi entry level sedan. What do you want, 3000hp? Give me a break kid. It's to compete with the new civic, sentra, corolla, mazda3 etc. Far as horsepower, it dominates in there market. Torque numbers havent been released, but mitsubishi is known to give great torque numbers, while honda, toyota are not.
Lancer DE 152hp > Mazda3 148hp > Sentra 2.0 140hp > Civic EX 140hp > Corolla S 126hp
That's your opinion, but some rather not buy an old 03, 04... hell even 05 Evo used, with all the problems that has come over the years, and rather settle for a brand new 2008 Ralliart (rumor 240hp, awd, turbo and 6spd). Sure it's down 36hp, but beats 5y/o smell, weak clutch, t/c and no front lsd just to name a few. Also, stop comparing the base 2008 Lancer to Evo 8 and 9, they are nothing alike in any shape or form.
If anything, the camry looks like the mazda6, and I fail to see how the camry looks anything like the lancer or mazda6. The front bumper bottom air ducts has some resemblence, but that's it. The headlights, grill and overall shape it tottaly different.
The lancer looks absolutely nothing like the R34 GT-R. What ever makes your brain tick, please donate it to science.
Wow, some more ignorance?
First off, there is no such thing as an 2007 Lancer. Next, you do not know the final price of the base (DE) 2008 Lancer, so to say you can get a 4G63 Evo for nearly the same price is utterly absurd. Even if the base (DE) 2008 Lancer was the same price as the 2006 base (ES) Lancer, find me an Evo (in a low mileage, good - working condition - non problematic) for $14,599.
It was reported months ago that a undisclosed specified lancer will come equipped with 18's, it was the GTS model.
