I think these pictures aren't that much different from the current EVO.
Considering price and potential there would be no reason for any go-fast freak to purchase a new ralliart or base model. You might as well just purchase an EVO8/9 and call it a day.
I'm sure the EVO10 will look flashy compared to the base but honestly the new one isn't as wild as I expected it to be. Just as our DSM brothers are happy with their AWD eclipses I'm sure I'll be quite happy with my 8 and probably will be for a good long while.

Seriously how differert are cars these days? Photoshop them however you want .... take off the badging throw on some wheels and add springs the'll all look similar. Hell even the 2007 camery would like like a lancer if you gave it a wing.
I dont think Mitsu did much design work really. They stole some tried and true favorites and re-released a classic. Aside from the four doors and the lack of stickers.... on the outside, how much different is the 07 lancer from the freaking skyline!!!!

Evo and IS350. Two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CARS. Sounds like you want more style and comfort. I would replace my Evo with another Evo - same model everything. Had I the money, I'd get a GT3 RS or Challenge Stradale F360 or F430. Out of the box, my car is all business. I could never see myself getting a plush car any, anytime soon. I'd feel like a grandpa with aches and pains, not to mention being bored out of my mind every time I got behind the wheel.
Oh I'm an EVO guy all the way...... but this thead is about the 07 base lancer so performance isn't even an option. If you are all about performance then there is no reason to purchase an 07 lancer when you can get an 4G63 EVO for nearly the same price.

I still love the Lexus. If I get rid of my Grand Cherokee I may pick up the 6 speed AWD IS250 and keep my EVO.

Yes, there will be something extra special about this new 2008 Lancer which the press has not officially release yet. It will be directly competing with the Subaru Impreza, something which the Impreza has of which the Lancer will have too, and I am not refering to the boxer engine. Yes, the engine will be mounted in the same direction......
It will also offer the same level of protection as a standard sedan, with side air-bags and all. Looking forward to the new Evo X. But for those buying the 2008 standard Lancer, it will definitely be value for money.

LOL....I love the looks of th 8/9. Hell is still love the look of th 2G-b GSX. I wouldn't have upgraded to the EVO if the DSM could have continued to compete on the open track. I don't need the latest and greatest especially when the EVO8/9 is as good as it is.

i been waiting for evo X for a bit with the new lancer pic i think the new evo will looks good. i think a lot of people hate to see change...... but i remember i used to hate evo 7 and 8 cause i think 5 and 6 is better looking car ~~~. Even the car might look a bit luxury than before that's doesn't change the fact it is still a evo. + even a ugly *** car liek saturn they have after market bodykit to make them look better i am sure evo x will have enough bodykit if we dun like the body style XD
