I think the '07 Evo in Japan is being done as some kind of limited edition super low production car which allows it to bypass certain regulations and maybe thats why it isn't on the main Mitsu page. I cannot remember where I read it, but the Exige (or Elise can't remember which one) is allowed to be here even though it doesn't meet all the safety regs because it is ultra low production.

Well . . . . I picked up my 06 EVO MR SE this afternoon. (Silver) Price was $33,999. plus tax and license. Got it from the Long Beach dealer and the sales manger, Allen, is the one to deal with for sure. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an EVO in SoCal area.
