Article on new Evo X and STi from Road And Track...
That article is full of ****! First off, U can't even get a good launch off the line with the Evo X's new ***** *** "Peddle shifters" because there is no clutch. 2. How do u get a 12.5 in the 1/4 mile with the weight of the car being at 3500lbs and only 300bhp? 3. how do figure that the X's 0-60 will be 4.5 sec if the 9's already do that with less hp and weight? ****in dumb asses! Don't pay attention to any of the **** u just read on that article.
(torque x rpms / 5252 ) = horsepower....
that's why dyno lines match @ 5252 rpms.

I mean, with that being said, more torque much sooner would make it quite obvious why it's able to make numbers like that...
and 11s 1/4 miles are posted all day long on ls1tech.com, from 3700lb cars with 400-430hp... and 440-450ft/lbs
if horsepower was the answer, then audi's diesel powered lemans racer would've been dominated, instead of dominating like it did...

I can't wait until the evo x's come out.. does any one know when exactly is the release date here in the US and how much each model is going to be approximently yet?
Thanks!!
Thanks!!
I think that STi looks better than the previous one and being a hatch is a major + in my book. Being a 4-door hatch is even better!
Not only I think they look good if designed well, but you can put a freaking fridge in the back when you fold the seats. And there's what really bothers me in a sedan, almost no utility.
And yes, I'm from Europe, 31, married w/ children
so I look for some other things in a car than some.
