The 280 Hp is the gentlemans agreement number they're using regardless if they still use it or not. Why is everyone making suck a big deal about this? Mitsu would lose face infront of the entire automotive communityif they made the X with less HP then the IX after promising it would be 300+. This is something that they can't afford to mess up. My guess is around 320 hp / 320 Tq.

According to the latest Wheels magazine here in Australia they are saying that the EVO X will be rated at ........ 220 kw no mention on Torque figures .

If this is on a dyno then the power figures are at the wheels. That would mean 320-330 bhp at the flywheel.
