First off its the girl im into not the car. If she is hot i can careless if she drove a freaking bucket.
Second i don't think cars matter, its called MONEY. People always relate cars to getting girls but in reality it is THEIR MONEY. NICE CARS = LOADED, the simplest way to ascertain the fact that the person has money is by looking at their car, AND PLEASE for the love of good looking people AN EVO is not a CHICK MAGNET so stop telling yourself that, your car isn't a ferrari. It is nothing but a sedan with a huge wing that goes fast. Same for the STI its a hatchback with power.
Grocery getters yes... Chick Magnet NO.
What do you know about LA. Shows you know very little. Only an idiot would believe it takes a car to get girls. It doesn't matter where you live.
If you believe what you believe then try a 3 series or C class.. chances are you'd do better with that because an EVO X or an STI wont get you ****... Have a nice day hunting.

yes, having an Evo does draw a lot of attention. if you don't think so, you must be on these forums 24/7 trying to start fights with random people who are just putting up their thoughts. take a chill pill, kiddo.

Now I guess no one saw my earlier post stating that in the pics, it appears to be the Factory Rally Team maybe doing some tarmac testing.
-Look how low the "co-driver" is siting
-Roll cage
-Big Brakes all around
-Dual Twin tip exh
-Vehicle stance very low...I'm sure its rockin a nasty suspension.

It's actually a smart design. Especially for an AWD vehicle.
i've had an STi, and probably getting an Evo, but i would really have to wait and see what the performance is on each and drive one around and see how they feel....as of looks....the X looks more aggressive, but that pic on the JP website is just too sick to pass up...

It is absolutly the worst engine i have had to work on. Versus Chevy V8's, ford V6's and any inline 4. There ARE some nice qualities, it is light and tiny, and it is bias to the rear, too bad the car negates all that. I wouldnt say it is the smartest design for AWD, i think that is opinion based. It is also a horribly inefficient motor. The head flow is abysmal, there are a lot more points of failure and the header is like 4ft before it hits the turbo. But other then that i have no hard feelings.

I like how the new STI looks in these pictures(minus the stupid clear tail lights), they actually put some nice fenders on it

If the STI performs as good or better than the evo X then the choice for me will be clear.
I expect subbie's interior will be better as well.
