10th page of silly thread: FACTS w/ LINKY BELOW....well, detailed facts for Japan market from MMC corporate website...It took me 2 minutes to find......

Only RS and GSR models for Japan...NO S-AYC in the RS, NO MR anymore! Thank god...sick of the MR folks who think they are part of a master race or something for paying extra for a 6th gear and squishy shocks. MR becomes the "Stylish Chrome Exterior Package w/SST Trans" 4,000 total Evo's a year projected for JDM in'08.

Just my 2 cents, but everyone here is talking MSRP. Who the hell pays MSRP for a car? I bought my MR-SE for a few grand under MSRP. Of course the guys who absolutely have to have the first Xs to hit US shores will probably pay sticker (and possibly higher), but for the most part, once the car is in circulation and dealerships start receiving more stock your 'actual price' paid should be a good bit less than sticker. Unless of course you absolutely suck at negotiating... in which case you deserve to be taken for a ride.

I hope the evo is this much. Sick of seeing all the douchbag 18 year olds driving in a evo with a 100$ exhanust and BOV smashing into tress and making my insurance cost more.

I got a feeling that the 112k median household income means the combined income of 2 people or more. Like a husband and wife who together earn that much.... might be wrong but might explain why it is such a high figure

There's an incredible split demographic amongst EVO owners - ask your dealer for stories, you'll get some entertainment out of it.

I have spent some time recently on the track with VCs that back some high end tuner shops on the west coast and much to my surprise, they talk about their Audis, Porsches, and Cup cars, but when it came to unloading their closed trailers, Evos rolled out!

An enthusiasts car is an enthusiasts car at any price - respect those that deviate from the norm and don't buy the Porsche when they have the Porsche budget, but rather buy the Evo and mod it accordingly.
