Its not going to be at an affordable price. You relly think the evo engine costs that much more to make? No its the tranny and awd that cost the most$$

The Mitsubishi department that maintains the facebook fan page also confirmed an AWC option for the Lancer SE 2012 models.

 

The price will be around 20K. Sounds like this will be a good product for them.

Don't want to start a new thread to ask this, so hopefully someone can enlighten me with an answer. Does anyone know if there will be any aesthetic changes to the 2012 Lancer SE model? Will it look any different or will it stay the exterior look pretty much the same?

I'm planning to purchase one soon, but not sure if I should wait for the 2012 model to come out before I make a decision.

 

2012 Lancer's will have a face lift for sure, its the only model their not killing for now.Rumour's are even saying that the evo XI will have a facelift as well but nothing is certain.

I think 2013 is the year for a new look in the Lancer... Mitsu FB page confirmed there will be a 2012 release for the Evo X so I doubt they're going to change the bodywork on the 2012 Lancer all that sudden...

Plus they haven't even started releasing footage and info on the next-gen Lancer... a facelift a year away from a next-gen is probably not the smartest thing to do

 

You could be right its just that all they changed exterior wise was the tail lights since 08...so a facelift would be expected.
