What does the Outlander Sport/RVR use? Just a simple Haldex center diff?

 

Outlander GT has S-AWC and the SE has a simple AWC, the Sport now has no S-AWC trim just AWC(MAYBE LATER).

 

Didn't know that! Yeah its only available on two models for now...pretty stingy lol.

 

Does this mean I can purchase a OEM 2012 GT ralliart style bumper for my 2011 GTS? So I don't need to do a black out for my current GTS, right?????

 

You could even purchase an OEM 2009 Ralliart bumper and fit it to your GTS without an issue... it's the same car.

Edit:

You will need to replace your current GTS Fog lights housing for RA fog lights... cheap as heck on eBay though

 

The front bumper plus all the stuff and painted cost over 1K??? -_- ..... i did a price search...

 

Yeah call Russell at MitsubishiParts.net, last time I called to ask for a RA bumper (before I sold the RA) he said $640 unpainted I believe... My local paint shop said 280 to paint and then the fog lights housing I think Russell sells them for $290 or so... I don't know if the chrome ring and black front crash bar cover pieces are sold separate

 

I am currently in the process of buying a car, specifically the 2011 lancer GTS, but then I saw that the 2012 would be coming out this fall.

Should I wait? AWC sounds pretty big to miss out on. But then again, it's only on the SE and it's only CVT?

 

Yep only cvt and they should be out in december last i heard from a dealer.

I dunno if I like those rims to much and Lancer-spoiler+new rims= Galant? At least that what it looks like. But it's good they're final getting some pictures out.

Seems like they got rid of the fake CF trim

 

That dark black trim is from the MR.

 

That's what I thought so ... they basically switch things around like the black tail (for 09) RA front and black trim for 12

 

I like the AWC badge nice touch if you ask me.
