I would agree for the person not looking to modify the car, but for old fashion stick and pedal manual transmission guys like me that just can't keep any car stock, I'm going to hold off. It will be a while till performance companies start modify the hybrids to the extent of just a gas powered car. I am still not ready to give up my clutch pedal and it seems that most are moving away and going to an SST, DSG, sequential type tranny.

Other car companies are still making high powered cars while upping the mpg. I don't get why mitsu had to kill the evo as it was. A few "green" cars in the lineup are enough I think. It's not like people weren't buying the evos…
I'm kind of excited for the fr-s though

i hate the "green cars" in the way they promote how enviromentally friendly they are. If people would just do a little reasearch, they would realize how unfriendly these cars really are to our planet.
"Hybrid" doesn't have to = "Lame." The supercharged Mugen Honda CR-Z concept that is supposedly coming out in '13 is verrrry interesting to me. If Evo XI must go hybrid, it could be worse than following that as a template.
But if they REALLY want to go "green," they could always go back to the super-strippo concept of Evo IX in the name of weight savings. With an FQ400 motor, and beefed up TC-SST. I'd buy one of those.
