This may be an inappropriate forum, but I was unable to find a general forum for info that is relevant to all current-model Lancers, including the Evo, RA and N/A Lancers.

The Canadian Black Book (our version of the US Kelly Blue Book) has named the 2012 Lancer second only to the VW Golf for its ability to retain its value. The Black Book is used by most Canadian auto dealers to gauge trade-in values and resell values for any used vehicle coming into or being sold from a dealership. Because of how the Black Book values affect the used vehicle market, this is more important to Mitsubishi Canada than a JD-Power or Consumer Guide resell value ranking. This is the first year that a Mitsubishi has made this list.

Good news! If Mitsubishi ends up destroying the Evo line the value can only go up! I can already see people asking more for there used X's because of the announced changes to the future Evo lineup.
