to be honest i would have been a loooot more tempted by the X if it had ever come with a 6 speed gearbox.. can't think of another performance car in 2014 that comes with a 5 speed manual
FQ360 type edition for US. LEDs in the headlights and tails. Offer wicked white, rally red in a pearlescent paint also bring back octane blue.
Offer the wheels in black/bronze/ or gun metal on some colors like Subaru does for the STI. Issue a special 2015 "last model year" keyfob in addition to a carbon fiber package instead of the piano black trim.
Recaros are out so do something Mitsu sh#t. Again, an FQ 360 type package would sell by the thousands in the US and probably at sticker price too, and they wouldn't need to really change anything in the production line programming.
A last model year specific color "like" Lambo yellow or that light blue the new Mustang is using.

RE (ricer edition) larger spoiler, carbon fiber filmed trim on the exterior and interior. Multicolored LED lighting inside and under the chassis. Racing stripe and flame options. Metallic paint options. Reduced power to make the car louder.
More seriously...
FE (final edition) w/6 speed manual and colors exclusive to that trim. Power boost is unlikely due to additional research, but would be nice. Even 30hp or so. Less weight. Ability to have leather without a sun roof. Full sight and sound with a better sub and amp. Nav unit.
They aren't doing anything special. Saddens me.

GSR SST spec, like European one.
GSR becomes 6 speed manual
MR also gets 6 speed manual
RS is 5 speed manual stripped out spec
Ralliart also gets 6 speed manual
I'd love a power bump just slightly, but that didnt happen earlier, so why would it now.
Also I never understood why Mitsubishi hasn't taken 7DCT500 transmission from Getrag but who will know it...
