Evo MR write up in Road & Track
The article is from a road and track sub mag called "Speed". They focus on performance oriented "drivers" cars. I bought it at the book store of my college but im sure you can find it at most large bookstores like barnes and noble or borders. They also have an article on the usdm evo 8 versus the ktm 950 adventure (motorcycle) offroad. If you guys want i could post that article too its pretty good.

Sorry, Ive calmed down now, lol. Honestly though, its because of complaints about the Evo in the US that Mitsu will probably tone the car down in future generations.
I think Mitsu has done a commendable job not trying to be everything to everyone with the Evo, especially the RS.. will it please at least show up already.. and with the MR, being possibly even a more performance focused vehicle. They have their SUVs for the masses who simply need a tool to rightfully commute around town.. The Evo is a great image car for those who are involved in having fun with motorsports.. Though the more *options* offered for any car, the better we consumers do.. So bring the options over, just don't water down the underpinnings!
how is a mr and a usdm evo "pretty much" the same??????? there is a whole lot different...considering the shocks, wheels, turbo, gearbox, seats, the roof....consider all those things...is that still pretty much the same?

yeah, it's deffinitely trade-in time. Too bad a lot of us are still WAY upside down on the current car hehehe. I'm lucky though because I've been paying since March 3rd of last year hehehe. Damn, what do you do to that car when you get it hehehehe. I'll take a white one this time, had enough of the fuzz bait yellow, thank you!

bilstein shocks, bbs wheels, 6th gear, lighter roof, bigger turbo and etc...wow big deal!! these are considered minor upgrades of the evo 8. almost all of these upgrades can be done with aftermarket parts. afterall, it's still an evo 8. pretty much like the integra gs-r and type r (same car). having driven both cars back to back, both cars feel identical, but of couse the type-r performs better, BUT not by alot. you want something different, wait for the redesign evo 9.
