Evo MR write up in Road & Track
I don’t care if the EVO IX comes out or not, it probably gets uglier then it already is (my favor is the VII).
I have been waiting for the EVO since 1999 but just don’t want to settle with the current EVO. The MR is all I need, 6 speed and ACD.
For the current EVO owner, you should be happy to have an EVO now and enjoy the heck out of it. Waiting is no fun I can tell you. For ppl who is waiting for a full-blown EVO like me, please don’t say you want a freaking cruise control, get a S4.

come on, cruising to the local circuit.. it's so nice to just set the cruise to avoid any potential hassles and on the way back, you sometimes still have that heavy foot and cruise just makes the trip to and from the circuit a non issue for potential infractions..

The std USDM Evo has an open front diff.
The RS has the Torsen that I would like to see on the MR.
I want that damn heater control. I doubt they'll come over here with the electronic climate control.
As far as trading to get the new MR goes, I won't be doing it anytime soon. I'm having too much fun modding my current Evo to start over from scratch and **** away $10K in mods and depreciation.

hahaha here we go again...
So when were they talking about possibley releasing it here in the US? 2005? 2006? I'm curious. I'm almost 21, and I really wanted an EVO when I bought my RalliArt but until I get older the insurance will kill me so I figured I'd get an EVO, or the MR when I'm around 22-25 so I can save alot of money. Plus I don't have a good enough job just yet to be making those high payments. Whens the possible talk on it coming here to the US?
