Yea..i own the 03 also I'm going to trade it in for the MR though even though i love this car too much...Does anybody know when the New MR is supposed to be released it shouldn't be too long should it?...thanks

 

The new MR is supposed to be out by October-november time. Within the next month or so they should have pricing and options.

i was just looking at some mr photos from the uk. how come the us version evo mr or even the regular evo will not have the intercooler waterspray when it installed on the mr where sold. does not make sense to me.

 

it's been replaced by the ACD, it's not very usefull anyway

 

i know but my point is that the european version of the evo has everything. 6 speed manual, ayc, acd, and yes the intercooler waterespray. Why is mitsubishi getting rid of the spray to make room for the acd when there is room already, hense in europe and asia.

 

I didn't personally notice a huge with the water spray active, if it comes with it then fine if it doesn't not loss either, It is relatively a simple piece of kit anyway, which could be DIY'ed if you really need one. Or if you want to make it an official Mitsu one then you could either buy the parts from your local dealer for the 03's or find a smashed up EVO at your local junkyard ( if it has even got one in there yet) All it consists off is some windshield washer tubing, a pair of nozzles, a switch and a water pump oh and some wiring to supply power to the switch and the pump, but as I was saying you could be real fancy and buy all the stuff from Mitsu (but you wouldn't get all the stuff cheap).
I am sure there is a drawing (Schematic) out there on how to wire it all up etc, if I or anybody elses finds it or even makes up their own be sure to post it on the How to's threads.

oOoO man i would so get the Headlamps: HID + fog lamps option ... HID are so freakn nice ... gonna glare the hell outta ppl near you but hey ...it'll put you at even more attention =P ... and fog lamps .... o man idk if its all for looks but even so ... those would look nice ... all the new stuff just gives another reason to be excited for the new Lancer Evos =)

 

heard the MR would shift from AWD to BWD at a certain speed or over a certain speed im not sure about that...gossip or truth? my friend has a rallye team in the M.E and they drive evos.he told me they usually do that to their evos to have a faster straight line accel but im not sure this comes in a stock EVO...

 

Hmm interesting. that's the first I've heard of that, but It would be interesting if that it can do that. above 75mph, RWD would be prefered.

You could rig up an IC sprayer but after reading the latest I guess the available parts won't fit in their respective 03 current locations on the 05's due to the little secret I just read, all I can say now is
