We're getting the analog clock just as much as we're getting Goodyear Eagle RS-A's as the OE tire.

I'm sure osme foloks can't wait to get a IX out soaking up the potholes and congested roads! The RS-As will let you know if you're not keeping it perfectly straight so you can enjoy that comfy floaty near buick like feel! Enjoying all sorts of greasy foods and 128oz drinks while blasting hip hop lingo in 4 languages. All the while keeping the hands of clock front and center so you know when it's time to attend the next lame-o meeting.

I can understand the excitement of so many joe schmoes..

Just a little speculation on "other 05's!"

It will be nice to get more details and pictures over the next 4 - 5 months.

Well, the tough part is no specs are "for real" until the first dealership receives their order sheet. So we're probably 3-4 weeks or so away from getting concrete information (option codes and the like) on the '05's.

So until then, we must "speculate" and the like... such as the "stow-and-go" seating!

I think after my researching I'm deciding to get a 2005/2006 Lancer Evolution in 1.5 more years.. (December 2005).. The STI is too much and the WRX is perfect in price but I get more bang for the buck out of the Evolution and a way easier to work with engine

Great news! The Evo IX is going to be based on the Diamante!

So now you'll be able to stretch out your legs, as your rear passengers. Don't forget the cupholders in the rear armrest either! And that extra soft, bouncy suspension to soak everything up.

If the STI is "too much" (whatver that means), the Evo is equally so. Similar price, similar performance.
