Whoever said that first year buyers are going to be robbed was right.
All enthusiasts bougth their car right away and then they bring all the goodies for *all* models
Good for the people that waited. Pricewise they will probably cost around the same as 2003s.

So they all come w/ lsd and acd!!! Damn that will **** alot of people off....BUt then other manufactuers do the same thing all the time..Offer better packages after a few years after they guaged how many people are interested in that vehicle....

I don't know how many other manufacturers do the same thing. This is basically one year difference. Only one so far is Subaru that I know of, with slightly changing the STi which is also unfair but to put in a front lsd and acd is a major change and is really rude.
I don't care about different turbo or the shocks and rims and alu roof, but lsd and acd do **** me off because if you try and get it separately they will probably charge arm and leg.

Very impressive. I really hope Mitsu comes back strong. I backed out at the last minute on a 2005 STi to go with the MR. Now to sit and wait...

 

Wow. If you were going to swap the shocks and the wheels anyway, and can live without the 6 speed, HID lamps, and Graphite Gray, then maybe the best of the bunch is the RS...

 

so there are not going to be any 04 evo's in the states... just 03's and 05's?? trippy -rob

 

for current Evo owners who feel cheated, just remember that the '05's will soon be eclipsed by the '06's, the Evo 9, or whatever the next iteration is going to be. it happens to everyone and every car. the '03-'04 Evo 8 is an awesome car in its own right - try to appreciate what you have!!

also keep in mind that us 03'm owners had a year and some change to enjoy this great car. i am glad i got the o3 and enjoyed it and not waited for the 05' becasue there will always be something better...

 

hey, i was wondering about the loss of the intercooler waterspray on 05's:

do you guys consider it a useful feature? would you miss it if it were gone?

 

There always will be something better, and that is the improved turbo, the new wastegate, the alu roof, alu door bars etc.
However front LSD and ACD aren't new and most likely not improved and the reason why they didn't bring it for 2003 was bogus since they are bringing it now. That is upsetting.
You don't care and are of course not upset since you're selling your car anyways
I plan on keeping my car for at least 3 or 4 more years and I do care.
