How did you get that from what you've read? The MR is it's own car, so far the MR *car* gets you the al roof, BBS wheels, 6MT, Bilsteins (stuff that would be factory installed) etc. The $799 *package* is an accessory package that gets you badging, the vortex spoiler and some assorted "bling" :::heaves:::.
I'm not sure about this but you will be able to get an MR RS, which is stripped down similarly to the RS but with the 6mt and other MR extras.
You are right about there not being an increase of Hp/tQ over standard models though. But so far all models will be getting at least ACD.

Anyways, I really didn't need to say all of this it's just a summary of what I've gathered. Read the thread.

Fireball is exactly right in that Mitsu is having more of their accesories installed at port rather than at the dealer. Unfortunaley the MR package will be on ALL MR's. It will not really be an option. I will email Mark some more current info so he can post it up
