after reading a few of the threads here, my guess is you'd be pretty fortunate to get 23 grand on a trade-in... you wouldn't have to come up with the entire difference though. there's gonna be a $500 loyalty discount and you'll have to come up with some, but not all, of the difference. what i'd do is simply tack on a little bit because some banks will allow the financing of 120% of the retail value. whereas the average bank is usually 115% of the retail. so whatever the math works out to be... my guess is you'll need at least a couple to few grand plus the loyalty discount to get things going for you.... unless you get it from that hawaii dealership of course

what are you referring to? the future of Mitsubishi as far as years down the line are concerned or are you referring to the nearing '05 models?

MMC's future has already been decided, they got the extra $ they needed, maybe a little less than they wanted though. Everyone needs to remember that to the japanese to have one of their oldest companies fold is not an option. Think about how many corporations our government has bailed out (ie Chrysler). Mitsu will continue in this country, and their product plans are already laid out. New Eclipse next year, new Evo's in Sept, and a new truck at the sometime next year.

So wait, for '05 xenon headlights will only be available as included in a package, and not as standard equipment? Is there any way to get an '05 with a sunroof and xenons and nothing else?

HID's are only going to be an option... that blows

I like the MR's by the way if they aren't marked up too much that is if its more than 3k above the cost of a regular EVO then its not worth it to me because for 3k I can make a stock EVO Kill the MR.

So, with the 05's.... I would like to get an 05 GSR with cloth seats, HIDs and no sunroof. Is this not going to be possible because everything comes in a package?
