man i hope they are off on that price. I was hoping for high 33's...not 35. If it is 35...that is getting a little iffy...on whether it is worth the money.

Thats true... Everyone keeps complaining about how the MR has all the same features as every other EVO. Well Every other EVO does not have a six speed transmission.... Or Blistien Gas Shocks.... Or a lightened aluminum roof and one piece BBS rims. All this helps the MR to be faster and pull a 0.98G on the skid pad. So where is the MR the exact same as all the rest?

Yep, 35k is too much money.
30k is a good price for the Evo but 35k for 276hp and handling upgrades is too much.
You can get a lot of car for 35k.

imo, the MR should cost only 32k.
Remember that Mitsu buys everything in bulk and is thus much cheaper for them to install Bilstein shocks, alum roof etc. The 6 spd has been there since the Evo7.

Mitsu shouldnt increase the price of the car or it will suffer the fate of the old Supra/3000GT where high prices doomed them.
The price of the STi is only 30.5k and add $500 over invoice for a total of $31k.
Much cheaper than a "35k MR".

$35k is pushing it. When you hit that price, you are introduced to a world of other vehicles that are a good bang for the buck. I'd say that the first few MR's may go as high as $35k, but after prices settle down we'll be looking at a bit above invoice.

Look at the prices the evo first were selling for. Now I can pick up a '04 VIII with sun/sound/leather for $27k before TT+L.

$35K is a guess. As Cargo Magazine's $32K guess.

At $32K, I'm fine. At $35K, they'd be pushing their luck. That'd be $8200 over the RS, which is a huge difference.

Agreed - $35K is begging with that old 03 interior. I so much prefer the leather shift knob and brake lever.

Nothing has been released.

I was at the dealer today to pick up fasteners for my Eclipse's airbox snorkel and I asked -- still nothing.

I thought evoNEIL hinted at a much bigger article.........also......is it me or does the grey look more of a "primer grey" then the pretty metallic grey I thought it was.

Regardless if it's 33, add tax and other add-ons and it will be 35K. And all those insane markups dealers had on the Evo, I would assume the MR will be their new baby pride and joy and will be heavily marked up over the RS and regular Evo.

Unless you have a prior agreement to pay MSRP, expect 5000 markups or more for months after it comes out just like last year and the MR is even more limited. My local dealer still has markups on all '04s and they said it will remain that way through the year.
