This was an interesting point I saw in the article. This could mean one of two things, either the Evo was putting out way more power than advertised or the STi was putting out less. The dynos were identical but the manufacturer claims are obviously different.

Well, I'm NOT pleased with the results. After all the hoopla the MR and STi are neck & neck?!?!? When Mits makes an Evo that whips the Sub then I buy!

It did whip it. One second on a 1:3x course is something to be proud of.

I made mental note of some things:
-Are Mitsu and Subie talking with each other? How can these cars always be SO CLOSE in comparison. It's frightening.
-The FQ (in the follow up article) has different profile cams and lowered springs and some sweet wheels. Where do we get it?
-Oh yeah, both cars are still amazing.

I looked at Borders, Walgreens, and a few newstands with no luck. So if you have it, scan it!

you guys ever think that the MR is probably higher in HP etc, because of the fixed bov? I mean, the evo has a ****ty plastic valve, that leaks from the factory, most likely.

Its just a thought. I dont know if its 100%, but im sure it holds validity.

Lots of rally teams run the stock BOV. And you know how many horses those cars are pushing?

Anyway, I'm sure it helps slightly, but the uprated BOV is for SURE not the main reason why the MR is a better car.
