Yeah, that's just an 8. I thought 9 would have RalliArt's styled headlamps and taillamps. The pic above is concept drawing of 10 (X).

 

The front bumper looks like a cross between Gialla and Evo 7 bumper (No center nosepiece).

The back looks like it has an awesome under body diffuser.

 

i really like the rear bumper looks sweet!!anybody know where i can get them?

somebody raise the BS flag. it looks too much like a jdm mr with a body kit. and don't even get me started on how fake that "evo x" looks. nope nope. sorry. OUR SURVEY SAYS... EEEERRRRRHHHHHH!

 

Car magazine said that the 9 would get minor body tweaks and it would get all the mr stuff standard, plus variable valve timing and the power should be well north of 300. For the evo ten we get a new chassis and engine that was codeveloped with chrysler and some other car company. I can not remeber there exact words but they also said that the evo 10 would be out in 2006 instead of 2007 because mitsu is trying to attract attention to the company. If anyone is interested in the exact words they can go down to barnes and noble and get the UK car mag.

 

Sure, if that's what the Evo9 will be, then it will be cool. I hope we get the nice head and taillights finally.

yeah the IX is getting MIVEC :sweet: plus everything from the MR, and it's coming out mid '05 in Japan. Who knows what that pic is, but I seriously doubt they will do a major redesign right before a huge redesign for the '06 EVO X.

I do like the rear diffuser.. that is pretty cool. I would totally go for that if it would fit our Evo8's.

The pale issue isn't just an cultural thing. Historically way back in the past, pale women were seen as more desirable for the same reasons.

Ok, enough with the history lesson.
To the guys who don't think this is enough of a change between the 8 and 9. Look at the V & VI and other early variations. Cars with the same chassis look similar. Maybe were just too used to the more recent and more drastic visual differences of the VII and VIII's, as far as same chassis visual differences between models. The VII and VIII was an extreme.
