Evo 9 picks, really small though

Wow, that might as well be an Evo8 with a bodykit, like we suggested before. Nothing differentiates this car structurally from the current Evo8 minus the rear diffuser. Even the spoiler is the same... we'll probably have to wait a couple more months for something more solid.

On that note, the diffuser looks pretty damn sweet.

I think it's an 'enhanced' picture of a disguised Evo IX being tested on the nurburgring. As an employee of a car company, I can say that we NEVER let cars out in the open without disguising them heavily with zebra stripe vinyl, front and rear masks, and tape covering the window outlines. On certain days, we even know of spy photographers in rented helicopters photographing our product development center. Having said that, it seems highly unlikely that Mitsu would be testing a bright yellow prototype on the nurburgring with production quality paint and trim. I'm guessing the car that was photographed was matte black and the mag just did their best to interpret what they saw.
