Ok, guys I have a generic calibration for the map sensor.

Gradient - 233
Intercept - 190

It's not that hard but what i have found was that alot of the guys who have been calling me for help their is definitely some innaccurate boost gauges out their.

Good Luck, I hope this helps.

yes thank you Jermaine for your feed back
just that the default setting on the Utec the Gardient value was lower than Intercept.
so I keep on thinking my calculation was wrong since my Gradient came out to be higher.

and I have notice right after you save the new value you have entered to the UTEC
you need to turn off the utec wait for 1 or 2 min and than restart the car
to show the correct value. otherwise it will always show a very high negative PSI number

The gradient is usually higher. Yes right after you enter the new value the map sensor has to take a barometric pressure reading in order to accurate. The values I just listed are for our map sensor. The default values in the UTEC are for the GM 3 Bar Map if i recall correctly.

Thanks,
Jermaine~

i know is off topic, does everyones loads move smoothly? i mean, do the go 10-20-30-40... before the map sensor install, my loads were like this. now with the map sensor, my loads jump like 40-50-60-70-80-70-90. why is this?

Map as a load reference will result in different load reference vs Maf as a load reference
