Since I've finally gotten my UTEC to control the boost better I've noticed even though I'm running rich as hell (smell of fuel plus backfire.. gotta tune this SOB soon!) I'm making 315 miles to a full tank. I was wondering if any of you other guys have noticed an increase in your overall miles?

 

I have no idea what you are running (cams,exhaust, etc.), but I have and probably will never see that kind of mileage. When my evo was bone stock, I was lucky to get 230 to a tank. Granted my driving style is not as conservative as it could be, but I don't boost everytime I step on the gas. Right now with my mods, I am getting roughly 210 to a tank. This is on a good day, with a stiff tail wind.

 

That must be all highway miles to get 315/tank, right?

 

I'm lucky if I get 180.

 

WOW no utec for me, but with my mods I get approx 240 highway and 220 city.

 

actually about 1/2 highway 1/2 street.... i dunno maybe i got the freak among the '04s next friday i'll be driving back from OH to FL so I'll see what I can pull full highway, by that time I should have the UTEC tuned about a bit more so who knows.. maybe I'll hit 330

 

I get around 300 on pure HWY and 200 in town.
