Can Anybody Interpret This Log File?
when you go with higher boost your a/f goes leaner.
so you said you turned down your boost to 22 psi
and got no knock. so you answered your own question.
most engine noise comes from the rotating assembly and
the harmonics from rotating assembly. yes there would be
some noise from the valve train, but compared to the crank,
rods & pistons not nearly as much.
when you see ECU on data logs it is telling you that the
factory ecu is controlling...
what size injectors do you have?
did you get your car tuned?

Hi, Malibu Jack
I got to fix the knock issue occuring on 5k - 6.5k, on all gears.
Remeber I was on Alcohol Injection Boosting 24psi to redline with 91 Fuel.
My settings on that on my controller is start to spray at 1psi of boost and max out the spray at 24psi of boost.
What I did was set the Alcohol controller to start spraying at 1psi of boost like before, and max out the spray at about 20psi of boost.
The controller works by spraying alcohol gradualy, and as the boost rises it sprays more alcohol.
Knowing the controller controls the amount of spray, I thought of the knock occuring between 4k - 6.5k.
So I told myself what if I max out the spray at 20psi? instead of 24psi?
This way it will spray more alcohol than before when I was using the 24psi setting. This will spray more alcohol in the 4k- 6.5k rev range.
That fixed the problem, I guess it needs more alcohol in that rev range, when I was using the 24psi settings on the controller it wasn't spraying that much on the rev range becuase the controller would max out the spray at 24psi, when using 20psi it can max out the spray earlier resulting in more spray and cooler intake charge.
What do you think about this...
Thanks MalibuJack

Water injection or not, if you are knocking at any point, it's due to you running too much timing, too lean of an afr and or too much boost. The evidence shows that if it stopped knocking when you essentially richen your afr by turning on the WI earlier. You should at least look into retarding timing a bit in that area and adding a little fuel.
Any aftermarket intake on your vehicle is going ot make it run leaner than the map was designed for. You should have some type of wideband to check for these conditions.
