On second thought, dont do another run. Lets iron out the fuel first. You are so rich, i think your injectors are maxed out on top and to lean in the middle. Better take it easy.......

You know, if you still can't fix the maf anomolies, and you still want to keep your intake. You'd be a good candidate to convert your load sites to MAP based. It would make tuning easier since wot is basically vertical in the 80-100 load sites.
I'll ponder this a little, but YES, if the MAF is bouncing around for any reason, it will result in unpredictable readings, so if you can do anything to anchor it better it will help. I'll give som thought to your log later today.

Ray, i might have thrown the stock box out........got to check it at edwins place when he gets back.Originally Posted by rraulston
Abner, we need to add some fuel in the midrange. With 91, i think we should have 11.1 to 1 as soon as 19 psi hits. That might allow for more timing there as well. Your timing is deffinately flat lined. Put your stock air box on and do another log and lets see what happens.

WBP: rraulston did suggest this to me before, and that one day we tried it on his car, it was 100+++F out. Will attempt it again when the weather decides to cool down.Originally Posted by Widebandphillip

What is the procedure for MAP base tuning?

what is the difference/cause of the slight variation between MAF and MOD MAF?
The cause (if nothing else is altered in your configuration, and your using MAP0) is a slight delay in the signal from the input MAF to the output to the ECU, As long as the numbers aren't wildly different, the ECU will adjust to it.
This was my map 0 dynoflash before I had to get rid of because I kept getting the 0300 and had to go back to the stealership for the 0300 reflash fix. I did not have the map sensor yet...
Code:
formatting is all jacked up
In the future, when you post logs, use the SHIFT-1 logs (their comma delimited) and will be easier for us to look at.
MJ: i log with UCC and then convert it into MS Excel. The 1st log at the beginning of the thread "copy/pasted" ok.....but this second one, the formatting is all messed up even tho it was done the same way as the 1st one.

then simply use Excel to reformat it but defining each column's width. It should be very easy... then save as *.txt comma delimited
