im sorry if this question is a repost but searching is not helping me find out.
what diameter is the stock exhaust? I'm just wondering how much bigger the 3" exhaust is gunna be under there.
im going to do a full 3" exhaust pretty soon, and would like to use the stock muffler, and be able to put the stock cat back on when i need emmisions tested in two years(i regitered this car in TX= no emmisions test).
im gunna buy a header, o2 houseing, 3' dp, make a cat eliminator, and eithe rbuy or make the rest to the muffler.
but i want to learn about whats on my MR right now stock.
Also im going to get a reflash, probably* before the exhaust

actually i just thought of another question.
will i see a decent gain if i just did the header and deleted the cat? but i guesse this will go back to my question about the stock diameter.
would be a very quick and cheap way to get some hp out of the car untill im shipped to california in November. There i can get vishnu to do a kickass exhaust setup.

does anyone know the difference i'll get from a header, o2 houseing and stright pipe/cat deleter?
i mean i know it wont compare to a full exhaust... by any means.... but i am asuming it should be noticable in both driveing and the track.
anyone have any opinions?
