TurboXS KnockLite

Anyone have one of these?

The CEL light is not very useful for seeing knock during the daytime. Anyone know if something like this would be easy to use with the Evo or whether it can interface with the UTEC?

Are you using it with the stock knock sensor? How does it connect? Do you just tap the wire off the ECU harness?

Have you been able to get a sense for how it works yet?

Thanks.

The Knocklite has a algorithm for setting the knock thresholds when installed correctly. You must connect the rpm signal for it to work correctly.

I would follow the knock threshold procedure. Then adjust the sensitivity after driving around making sure that it doesn't flash over actively. As you should know if it is over active it might as well not work at all.

Thanks,

Jermaine

Does it required the Turbo XS or just tap to the ECU?

Need more feedback about that product... Anyone?

You can run the knock lite without the utec. You just wire is directly to the factory ecu harness. It is very easy to install only takes 30min to an Hour. The product has worked great for us so far.

Someone said there is 10 levels of sesitivity. What level are you running yours at?
I'm pretty interested in this product. Thanks for your response.
