Any idea what is going to be in this update? After all this time, it better have some kick *** stuff since its taken so long.

 

Yeah I talked with Adam at Z1 and he told me they told him soon. Whats 3 weeks? Not much except that it has been oh "real soon" for the past few months so we may be told 3 weeks and then pushed back further.

 

If TurboXS is talking to Adam from Z1 and that other guy talked to Nathan from XS, then why don't they just post on here to inform everyone?

I don't understand what is wrong with the UTEC for it to NEED an update. Doesn't it work just fine as it is?

 

Its not whats wrong with the utec, its what it is missing.......
Examples are listed through out this thread on how many different things could be added to make tuning easier and better.

I would rather wait it out and let them get it right instead of getting a new release of Windows. Explain that to your insurance when you get 'T' boned..."My car just died in the intersection and this guy ran into me while I was trying to reboot my UTEC"

when i talked to Nathan when i called TURBO XS to order my stuff i asked him about the New software they were coming out with, He said late Jan to mid feb. So its not that long I would assume that it would be March the Latest. Id rather let them take thier time, get it right the first, rather than F something up (not saying that they would) .

Its not like thier unaware of The EVos existance. Just be patient. You have waited this long whats the use of getting all fired up and making other who have it and memebers who are looking at the UTEC as a tuning/management solution, turn away. Dont forget that if members get scared of the UTEC and its updates than it means that We wont get as a Group will get screwed, Cause than we would be Sitting on a $1000+ setup than we cant resell for pennies or even give away for free. I say we just Wait it out and let them correct what they need.


The updates will allow you to remove your MAF. I Think that it would allow you to scale it up to 1000cc inj better, im not sure though. It would be nice if we could use it for bigger turbo setups more accurate, and effiecently, which means in theory you could have a 10 sec EVO and still be able to pass emissions on a street tune and lower boost. im not sure if it would work like that though.


I know man. but i believe that we will have it before Track season. If not, im driving to Turbo XS and making a issue outta this. Im dont like disapointment.
