Save yourself the trouble, return them. And be happy you saved money on a mod that doesn't work at all.

this is a crazy debate. its been dyno proven that they work. just like a intake not much but they do work. im sure someone can find the thread that proved it all. I installed one on my car and it smoothed my idle out a lot. Didnt really notice much other than that but it was free. had an old amp kit and some connectors so we thought what the hell.

You're right it's a debate. All over car forums worldwide. And if it were really that good of a performance enhancer, it would be just as popular as an intake system. People get the placebo affect from these groudning wires. I'd love to see some (unbiased testing) osiliscope graphs showing a before and after idle with grounding wires..And 1-2 hp on a dyno doesn't mean anything to me. That can be a fan placed slightly closer on the best run...

It does help if you really need to have a mod list on your forum signature....

LOL ^^^

Yeah its a big placebo effect. i didnt notice any gain on the but dyno but did notice smoother shifts. did one last night on my friends mazda speed and he noticed the same. THe thread that showed the power was really like 3 horsepower so its not anything noticable just like an intake. I didnt wanna spend 50 bucks for wires so i just made my own. free mods are the best

it doesnt make it shift smoothly. It just doesnt have as much as a jerk effect or that early morning bog when first started up. Or at least mine hasnt done it since i put the grounding kit on. Hell do it for yourself and see if you notice anything. Noones saying its a miracle mod like the turbonator or 25 hp mod chip. It just hold a better ground throughout the car.

A grouding kit is probably only a good idea if:

1) you have an old car and the electiral system is not up to par.

2) If you have a sound system (amp & sub, don't matter for head unit or an amp to run mids and highs)
