In a nut shell

We always see intakes such as the Buschur, Injen and HKS making more power than stock air boxes and drop ins

The power is about 8 - 10 whp more with a good intake

I like the Buschur the best - its cheap and works great - but the others are also decent
warrtalon, intake's a stupid mod huh ^^

Intakes (after a tune) don't provide that much gain on dynos in my area. Also, conditions on the dyno are nothing like on the road where the hood is not open.

I have posted A - B tests on the same car which show significant gains with intakes

I believe you, but again, that's on a dyno with the hood open, which is nothing like driving around with the hood closed.

Why not buy the intake an make your own cold air box out of aluminum. The best of both worlds.

Ok, since you guys are debating as to whether or not an Aftermarket intake is worth it, how about telling me where the best gain is realized for the least amount of money! I would tend to think it would be in the exhaust?! Your valued comments would be greatly appriciated.

You can increase boost with an MBC therfore more hp.

I would say tbe would be the best mod for the money to power ratio.
Or actually even a mail-in dynoflash. $200=20whp.
