weirdest HKS SSBOV sound

is there something wrong with my HKS SSBOV to make it sound like this. Its started making this different sound when i installed a AEM EMS and GM boost solenoid. i was tinkn maybe because i tee it off the bov hos to the boost solenoid but even if i without the tee in it sounds like this theres no leaks or anything i checked all that. is this normal? i never messed with BOV . i did tap intercooler piping for the AIR temp sensor thats bout it. sorry bout the cheessy people thats me and my cuzin haha

Unless I'm missing the "sound" you're talking about it sounds like a HKS SS Bov to me. As long as it is not leaking who cares anyway?

hasnt that annoying flutter ever get old.. and yes it doesnt sound right.. sounds like the smaller valve is not opening correctly.. if you enjoy your turbo i would get rid of that thing..

I didnt bother to listen, if it sounds like its fluttering (described by the local morons as a clown laughing) it is most likely compressor surge, which is bad...

Have you got a good vacuum source? Those BOVs aren't adjustable so as long as you have a good gasket and good vacuum you shouldn't get the fluttering. Something is up in your setup.

Edit: Sorry I had Greddy in my head from your post. There is obviously no gasket, what I should've said is make sure your O-ring is good and the clip is secure.

Tom

MAJOR compressor surge. He doesn't have the vacuum nipple on the hks bov. I love the sound though.

i put to HKS bov on my bros car and it sounds nomal then back on my car and still sounds weird then i put my bros HKS thats less than 1000 miles on it on my car too and still the same weird sound and the vaccum line is on thats the first thing i checked vaccum is off the stock bov line so that has to be good i wonder if its the location of the bov cause it was moved close to the outlet side of the intercooler???
