idle jump

Unhappy idle jump

I just added a 65mm throttle body and my idle jumped from 1000 to 2500 rpms messed with the idle screw no difference could it be with me AEM EMS ???how do i adjust it down?? i did the throttle calibration and my idle step 1/2 and 3/4 are on no luck any thoughts

You need to calibrate the 'idle % vs Target table' , search for 'idle tuning' in the 'AEMPro User Guide V2.0'

did you have to put the sensors on yourself, or did it come with the sensors preinstalled? Where did you get it from?

came with sensors pre set and i swapped the sensor srom my old TB just to be sure that it was bad sensors but i'm checkin out page 72 now

You can't just swap the sensors. The TPS has to be calibrated in to position. if you notice the holes which you screw the TPS i to the throttle body are set up to be adjusted. I don't remember exactly what the numbers where, but you have to measure the resistance between 2 of the pins and then compare that to 2 other pins. It's actually pretty easy with a multi tester, but not something you can just eyeball.

either way sensors made no difference
