Yeah, he'll be running rich. It's not unsafe to leave it untuned, but the car and you will love it.

Well, put it this way. Getting a tune is better than getting all of those other mods. Having a fuel pump and no tune really doesn't make any sense. You get the pump in preparation for the tune and increased boost. You will likely not HARM the car the way it is now, but you spent a lot of money on mods that aren't being fully utilized until you get tuned. It's only $199 for a mail-in tune, which is mere pennies for the power gains and additional features you receive...

I figured I would be running rich. Flames were coming out of my exhaust when I really get on it. Thnx for everyones responses. I'm def going to go with a flash. I plan to use ecuflash with tactrix later on so will a mail-in be ok til then? I will be able to tune the mail-in when i get ecuflash and tactrix, correct? Thank you guys again for all the help. This forum kicks a*s

Well, even better than that is you can get the cable and software, then purchase an e-flash for $50 instead of messing with the mail-in flash. You get the same tune as a mail-in flash, but it comes via email, then you flash it yourself. From that base, you can then choose to fine tune or retune with future mods. However, I do NOT recommend playing around with the tuning yourself unless you're intimately knowledgeable about tuning theory and understand the delicate balance of boost, afr, timing, octane, rpm, and load.
