Talking Hks Ssqv Bov

The hks ssqv BOV sucks! At first my car was running fine for about 3 weeks then all the sudden it started to have idle problems. Switched back to the stock BOV and the car feels so much BETTER! IF ANYONE IS THINKING ABOUT GETTING THE HKS SSQV....DON"T GET IT. STICK WITH THE STOCK BOV UNTILL YOU PAST 25PSI.

It helps, but it still sucks, and you then have spent $400+ for nothing.

HKS EIDS is a waste of money. When it doesnt even help on cold start ups, what's the point? The AFC could help control stalling to some degree on my Eclipse and Talon when I was dumb and vented to the atmosphere. Out of the handful of evo 8 owners I know with the HKS SSQV, none of them actually had stalling problems. Is it a bigger problem on the Evo 9?

I have one installed on my 9 and I have absolutely no issues with it.... zero idling problem..... I know there must be some issues since it's VTA but I can't see it without technical meters. it's imperceivable and does no damage to the engine so I don't care. I'll replace my cat with a test pipe so that won't be an issue either.

Anyone else with ssqv on 9 with zero issues?

ok, ok, stock is better... but some people love the sound. our choice, our problem
