The hks ssqv BOV sucks! At first my car was running fine for about 3 weeks then all the sudden it started to have idle problems. Switched back to the stock BOV and the car feels so much BETTER! IF ANYONE IS THINKING ABOUT GETTING THE HKS SSQV....DON"T GET IT. STICK WITH THE STOCK BOV UNTILL YOU PAST 25PSI.
I guess all you guys dont like power. hks is one of the best BOV they make.
if ur full throttle and all of a sudden slam the butterfly close...its gonna drop rpm...the ecu is trying to catch up. If you learn how to drive ur car to compensate for the VTA bov it works fine.
my idle at 1100rpm and the hks bov and it runs fine. unless i get a small boost leak.

When I was venting on my DSM, the car would have major idle problems... revs drop to 0, then turn off. However, a couple of my friends didn't have any idle issues.
Every car is different, but it is important to have it recirc'd if it came that way from the factory, unless you have a way to compensate for it.
My SSQV works great with my GM MAF.
