I had my ECU flashed when I got a staged upgrade and was wondering if I need my original ROM if I need to ever go back to stock or will the one from the Aktive Matrix download suffice? Thanks.

Well its kinda up to you there isn't a time where modifying the ROM doesn't come without risk.
