I got my car dyno tuned and obviously they had a laptop and the OBD plug in to adjust timing, boost etc. My question is, is there a program i can download on to a laptop and be able to plug in with a tactrix cable and tune my own ECU? If so what site can i download it and does it cost? Also slightly off topic, what is an optimum AFR to run. Thanks in advance for the help.

thanks for the link but i did search and found that same link. what i mean is can i custom tune my own ecu using the OBD and a tactrix cable with my laptop? ive heard about jester but i wanna be able to changes my own AFR's add or pull timing etc. not a preset flash. thanks though.

You can do that with EcuFlash. www.openecu.org.

 

I have a link in my sig that explains everything you need. I just added a video tutorial that shows how to use the programs.
