My first log

I received my tactrix cable today and went for a logging run. This flash was done by a vendor on this site. Can the tuning gurus take a look at it and give me your opinion.

My mods:

BR Stage I upgrade with HFC (includes open air filter, MBC set to 21 psi, and flash)2007-05-10-123918.zip

Pretty short log, but log does not look bad. It is very conservative on the timing side of things, and there is still a lot left as far as perfromance in the car. Your duty cycles seem a bit low for stock injectors at this boost level.

at first glance the timing and knock are in check but the NB02 look a little fat. One quick pull doesn't say much. I would remove the parameters you don't need to log so that you'll get much more data per RPM. Get the engine nice and warm and do several back to back pulls to redline to coax out any issues that might be hiding.

Chris,

What would you suggest removing? I will also do several back to back pulls this next time. Like I said this was my first time logging and was looking for some feedback. What is NB02 and how would I adjust that? This flash was also done mistakenly for 91 octane when in fact I use 93. Would that be a factor as well? Thanks for your response.

no problem, NB02 is the oxygen sensor, by logging that you'll get an idea of what the air/fuel ratio is and you'll manipulate the fuel map to change it.

I would log: Knock sum, Timing advance, RPM, Load calc, TPS, 02 sensor and whatever else is required along with those (it'll automatically get them for you.. battery etc..)

91 octane will be a little more prone to giving you some knock so keep an eye on that in your logs. If the tuner made the flash conservative enough it may be a non issue.

Is the duty cycle the same thing as load? Would you bump up the timing as well?

I was looking at my log and saw a column labelled OCTNumber. Is this what octane fuel you are running? If it is what would be the number for 93 octane?
