Problem with Fuel Cut In Need of Help!!!

So, I have a Evo 9 Mr with a few mods I will go down the list here just to let you know what I have.

Extreme Motorsports TBE w/Race Pipe - Vibrant Muffler
Upper IC Pipe
AEM CAI
MBC
Custom Reflash

My issue is that, all of a sudden after about two months of having the mods the car started hitting fuel cut in 1st and 2nd gear. It cuts at about 4000rpms and just chokes it the rest of the way through the gear.

The car has been in the shop that did the work for about a week, they have tried putting my stock tune back on it, retuning, and then the tune they had made for my car and nothing. They have done a few other things, all in all he said that the car is fine. Runs great, has no issues driving normal just if you go to wind out first and second its cutting and they are really not sure why.

He has one last thing he is going to try to do today, and if that doesnt work then I have been told to put the stock parts back on the car. Which I may do and bring it to the dealer, or i may just trade it in and leave the tuning world. This is the second time that fuel cut has pissed me off to the point that i don't want to deal with these cars anymore and I am honestly looking to trade it in on something if they can't get it to work.

Unless anyone here can help me out or tell me what could possibly be wrong.

Please help, i do not want to lose this car!!! I love it and just want it to be right again!!!

If you have questions please ask and I will post answers asap.

I changed the spark plugs with the ones from the dealer (NGK Iridums) and gave it an oil change before bringing it to the shop, he then tried another set of plugs and i believe he changed the wires to and nothing diffrent there either.

Unhappy I think Too much of fuel

Ok, here is the whole thing.

I have an Evo 7 and I've upgraded the following:

filter intake and suction pipe
upgraded turbo with the Evo 9 turbo
Down pipe, exhuast system
Crank Pulley
Walbro Fuel Pump 255
Apexi Power FC with the commander

so, the turbo & fuel pump been upgraded lately then the problem showed up, the tech said the ECU "Apexi PFC" need to be programed but if i put the stock ECU back will work perfect, I have done that but didnt solved yet... so what do u think?

Thanks in advance

Sorry guys, I didn't pick the car up Monday he asked for another day. So i gave it to him... he told me he would call me today and still never did. So i finally gave him a call around 5 (when the shop closes at 6) and asked if he had found anything and he said no.

So I will be going to pick up the car tomorrow.

He believes that it is something in the ecu and the the ecu could have possibly gone bad, now i know thats a possiblity but the car isn't even a year old and i was not maxing it out at all. So his suggestion is to put the car back to stock and then take it to the dealer and have them look at it...

but I personally don't want to give him any money for what was done this past week and a half because he didn't fix anything. As well as I don't want to pay him to put it back to stock when it is his tune and or parts that are failing the car. I really can't be out of a car for another long period of time either. I would really like someone to figure out what this deal is.

I do not want to go through this again and if it can't be fixed I will probably be out of modding cars for good because i can't find good service anywhere.

Guyz,

I reset the stock ECU and it seems to be working perfect, but I think need to be retuned as it needs a bit more fuel...

Thats good, you should have mellon tune the car. I've read good things. If you want more "name brand" tuners, jestr is talked about everywhere.
