power fc, power gains ?

hi guys, have ordered my power fc , just wondering what power gains i should expect when tuned, the car is an evo 7 has 3 inch exhaust and filter...
have not touched boost. but have blitz sbc id ii ready to go in,

planing on getting a power run before the install but wondering if anyone out there would kno what sort of power figures i should be expecting with a tune, .. we also run 98 octane here, im guessing around 25 hp ? but not really too sure

Hey Scaggs, I got about 25 whp going to the PFC, but I'm not sure about your base tunes. I have 93 local to me, but 91 is common in the US so there may have been more room for me to improve. With 98, you should be able to do more with boost that what we can get away with.

I ran 22 psi on my stock turbo and 93 octane. IIRC, stock was 19 psi. I ran 25 psi on my 35R with 93. I'm sure I could run even more boost with the 35 on 93 if I spent more time with it, but I'm currently running e85 (104 octane) all the time.

Make sure you get FC Datalogit and you're life will be much easier. There's also a great support forum on Yahoo with a good number of users from south of the equator.

Actually, it is the USA that is different from the rest of the world....or at least on the palces that I know of. as a rule of thumb, you have to add 5 to USA ratings to equal ratings we have...
