Hello, I would like to know which of these logging softwares is best (logging, ease of use, functions, error free, compatibility with windows vista, etc) and how they work with the tactrix cable.

also, which is the difference between EvoScan 1.3M USB Cable as seen here: http://www.limitless.co.nz/EvoScan/ and the tactrix cable??

 

Don't quote me but I think the 1.3 is just for logging. The tactrix I know 100% does both

tactrix is a 1.3. or thats what it says it is on my laptop.

 

Evoscan is what I use.
along with ECUFLASH
if you do not want to pay for evoscan search for mistulogger

 

Never heard of Proscan

 

Never heard of proscan either. i use Evoscan for the logging with the WB. For some reason the WB doesnt get picked up by mitsulogger on mine. I am running vista.

 

never heard of proscan before this thread. But after looking at the links provided, it appears to only use the ODB-II protocol which is much slower than what is achieved with evoscan. Evoscan uses the MUT protocol and has much better logging capabilities that mirror the factory diagnostics
