Rich Fuel
I would say that the high octane fuel map is rich. You can lean it out quite a bit, making sure you're safe by looking at knock sum.

If you plan on doing a lot of tuning for accuracy, then go with a wideband. However, it is not necessary especially if your leaning out a stock map.
Like almost all cars, Evos don't have to run as rich as they come. You will see a huge difference by leaning out your mixture. Furthermore, you will most likely see an increase in MPG. Let me know if you have further questions or are looking for someone to lean out your map. I know some good tuners for this who can help you out while keeping costs at a minimum.

That's my stock dyno. It drops in to the 9's just after 6500 RPM.
