That is normal normal. Get a tool to safely adjust your A/F. Benefits: better gas mileage, more power, less soot on the bumper.

It's time for you to invest some $$ on gadget than help you lean out your car.

Do a search, there are many options.

Anyone have tips for removing the stains on the bumper? The right side of mine is discolored from exhaust and I couldn't scrub it off.

Does aftermarket exhaust help with this problem? My stock tailpipe is recessed in the bumper. Maybe it would be better if it stuck out a bit past the bumper?

You could apply a little of Meguiar's Paint Cleaner or a slightly more abrasive scrub if it doesn't come off. Or get an exhaust guard.

I just waxed my car this past weekend and even running the Works 93 reflash still had a grey film on my right side bumper cover. I use a Wax shop carnauba show car glaze on my car and it does a decent job of removing the film without using an abrasive cleaner wax or compound.

I am running the Works Exhale which exits a bit further from the bumper cover, and it really doesn't seem to matter. I think the air turbulence just ends up pulling some of the exhaust fumes upwards across the covers surface regardless. Obviously sitting in traffic probably adds to the problem as well!

Hi there

Have the same problem too. Any degreaser would clean it pretty well and you can get it from places like autozone.

I have the same problem with a stock EVO, running 91 octane. Is there a way to correct the problem without voiding the warranty?(So far I think I might have a lemon - can't take any chances). Thanks...
