Apexi Avcr losing settings

I have a AVCR that keeps losing settings after turning off the engine. I checked the splices and they appear to be good (not loose). I was wondering if anyone else was having the same problem or knows how to fix this. Thanks.

sounds like you have it wired wrong.

Constant power for the memory instead of switched power.

The weird thing is if you set the monitoring mode and turn the car off and turn it back on it will still be on monitoring mode. The minute you put any kind of settings in it and turn it off, it will come up with everything back to factory.

Like Razorlab said, you probably have both 12v wires attached to an ignition wire.

You need to tap one of the 12v wires to a "constant 12v" wire.
The other to the "ignition 12v" wire.

The constant 12v wire will save your settings and what not. The ignition 12v wire will turn on your avcr only when the car is on.

Any chance it has a battery for storing settings that could be dead? If not, then it has to be the switched/constant 12v signals.

No, I looked through the program, and I couldn't find anything to save it. I'm going to check the wiring to make sure it is correct. But first, I have to fix my clutch problem (its slipping). I love how everything breaks at once.
