ECU flash is all you need. It will do everything the others will and a lot cheaper. Aftermarket EMS is more for high RPM, big injectors, big turbos, stage 5 cars. Spend the money you save on more mods.

I second ecu flash. I used to have a UTEC and went to ecu flash a month ago and couldnt be happier.

Like [EVO]Cookie said, ECU flash is cheaper, easier to use, plus it retains a lot of stock ecu features like knock detection. I didnt like how utec came in and out of control at low rpm and load points...the trasitions had to be tuned very well or you would have little shakes as the spark transitioned. If I had a big turbo with big injectors, it might be a different story, but being on a stock turbo - ecu flash is great.

However, if you are still interested in a UTEC, let me know, I might be able to sell mine.

Stock ECU for sure I work with KevinD with evolution dynamics regularly, we have seen many cars come in with a multitude of different after-market ECUs complaining they need a tune, their car doesn't run right.... blah blah. In almost every case we have convinced them to go back to the stock ECU, retune, and they get more power, and remark:"This is incredible, the car has never ran this good!" Put the money into something else and just tune the stock ECU.
