I had a custom Dyno tune by Al and I was having some issues with my car before the tuning trip with a fuse blowing and it so happened to blow on the dyno which is in no way Al's fault but I can tell you of what he got done managed to gain me 50hp over what was there and we were not able to complete the tune, after being able to drive the car(finally got a fuse in without it popping) with just this I noticed a huge difference in the car, ran so much better so in a sense I am happy although I need a new computer (FU Mitsu). Yea Al came off to me as maybe stuck up or whatever but im sure I come off the same to some of my customers, its hard to be a (friend) to all of your customers when you are trying to run a business. Maybe not all of us with be pounding away with Al as "BRO" in his videos. I always understand that people will have problems with businesses hell I have had a few customers that come back to me saying that I cant do **** im the worse installer and it may or may not be my fault but they think it is and then most come back to me asking for my work time and again ,there will always be someone that is unhappy and all you can do is try your best to make it right. Good luck anyone that has had any issues im sure if you contact Al he will take care of you I hope and I know that as soon as I figure this issue out he will complete my tune at no extra charge and thats a plus 1 in my book.
You dont have to act as a "friend" to anyone to have a successful business, But you shouldnt come off as rude either. What ever happened to customer satisfaction as a priority? Customers come first in a business. I dont know about you, but I dealt with Keith at Turbotrix and he was VERY VERY helpful and by no means was he acting like my friend. Just a friendly business man. Same now with Pete at DG Motors. VERY Friendly guy that I can trust working on my car. How can I trust someone with my car that I work very hard to pay for, just for them to screw it up? It only takes 1 time for me to spend an extra 8grand....

Customer satisfaction is a priority as I suggested to YOU that I would be willing to do what ever it takes to satisfy you as a customer, including retuning yoyur car with free dyno time or what ever it would take to A - make your car run properly and B satisfy you as a customer.

When you come in with a car that you or someone else has wrenched it is not my responbsibility to correct any mechanical problems or re-tune the car after they are corrected. Despite this, I am willing to work with you as I do with anyone else.

When we wrench the car we stand behind everything and fix everything until it is perfect.

In your case, I have offered to redyno and retune your car free of charge and try and resolve any problems that you may have.

I have appologized to you if I offened you in any way.

As a business offering a tuning service, I can sleep at night knowing that my intentions are honest and I want to do the right thing by you and do what ever I can to help you with your car.

I remind you I did not sell you your parts or install then, all I was doing was trying to tune your car.

As you are not satisfied, I am willing and have offered to try and work with you to do what I can to make you happy and hopefully earn your future business. As you know I have also offred to stay late hours if needed and / or weekends and compensate you for your gas and tolls to come here.

sorry to hear about this!

Along with that, my dyno time consisted of 3-4 pulls in about an hour and it was over. I scheduled my car to get tuned and you had to leave early which is more of an inconvience for me, since I knew you were rushing on the dyno.

We clearly didnt want to work with me at the time, and that was the only time I had, which we had already discussed prior to us scheduling dyno time.

It saddens me to hear about your experience with Al. I am the owner of ICS Performance. I work 18 hour days to make sure things get done properly at the shop. I would personally like to pick up your vehicle with a list of thing you want looked at, and will make it my top priority to get the car up to your satisfaction.

Regards,

George

please contact me via PM and I will get back to you ASAP I promise.

I am glad to see that DynoFlash is working to resolve the issue. It's nice to see someone willing to make the customer happy in a society where customer service has declined so greatly.

George,

I really appreciate what your intentions and your way of going about this situation. Unfortunately, It was just a tad little too late. Im sorry, but I have to decline as I have already diagnosed and worked out the bugs myself in my own garage... But like I said, I really do appreciate it from one man to another.

It shows that ICS is infact a really great business and George has some great customer service!

As for Al, I accept your apology and I do know where you are comming from as a Tuner. Im not trying to burn any bridges here, but the bugs were worked out and the tune has been fixed. I just had 2 bad impressions that set me over the edge. Im pretty sure if George was there while I was being tuned the situation would of been handled differently.

I thank you both for your generosity and help!

Dan
