Wish I had an answer. I too have been protuned and the PO300 pops up from time to time. Sometimes it just clears itself, other times I have to reflash...basically no rhyme or reason to it. For me it tends to happen when I'm cruising at highway speeds.

raiceboi697,

I'm assuming your vehicle is a 2003 Evo?

Thank you,
Rob

rob,

close i got a 2004. im also one of the lucky folks who get this phantom code. the only other solution i have heard is if i get a COP ignition system it will go away, but a grand for a possible solution is a bit steep.

Can you email me your map that should have the P0300 DTC disabled?

Thanks,

Rob, any chance you could look at my tune and also turn off the PO300?

You certainly can, but I would ask that you wait until raiceboi697 reports back.

Thanks,

Looks like something is amiss with the 2003-2004 misfire codes. I'll have to take a look.

Thanks guys,

Have we found a solution to this problem yet? I've been having this problem as well and my tuner guy turned off the po300 code on an accessport custom tuner map.
